I don't think there's been a SoL/sports kirara series that's been fucked over as bad as RiB. A super obscure manga from 2015 that only got attention 4 years later because the anime was announced which turned out to be picked up by one of the worst studios in the medium to adapt it, and had low sales. On top of all of that, it also had the misfortune of not getting a OVA for damage control, either. Rifle got fucked.

There are people who seem to hate them for some reason. Both Flip Flappers and Princess Principal were popular with constant threads here. But since then they've just made some strange decisions, probably because they took on more than they could handle for a new studio. They dropped out of the PriPri movies which should have been huge successes, had to turn the first half of Black Fox into a single movie, and then there was that all-boys show announced that I don't remember.
