Well, that's...the point. Doraemon's enduring theme is Nobita trying to cheat his way out of his problems by getting Doraemon to bail him with future gadgets. It usually ends badly for him, and theminority of times he actually got a wholesome outcome were when he tackled his problems with courage and integrity

That's the point. Everyone in the series is pretty much a piece of shit, that's what makes it realistic, fun and relatable. I hate when there's any kid in a series that's always acting perfect when usually kids are awful.
