Dropped it at s2e10. It's boring as fuck. The first season was mediocre and I thought it would get better, but the 2nd season was garbage.

i dont know, it might be better in novel form, but i found it relaxing and hearwarming. the characters are all written alright and the world is actually a working fantasy world.

It's not bad but I really cant stand watching it idk it's just how do I put it just doesn't interest me.
not like I hate book either.

books*

yeah its really slow paced i think that might put a lot of people off. i often was drawing while watching it so it didnt bother me at all. also i kinda like most of the characters so thats a plus.

I started watching it since I was having withdrawals after reading the LN. I really hate how slow these "official" translations are.

>af
as fuck
Kill yourself.

s3 never

i was honestly surprised it even got a 2nd one

It's alright. Only thing I thought was weird was that knight guy just suddenly trying to kill Main. Like what was his plan after she died?

>He is the first to suspect that Myne is not who she used to be, and has been in fact taken over by someone else.

This is the worst trope in isekai. Why the fuck would anyone ever suspect you of being "actually a reincarnator" unless it was something frequent or normal?

lutz was the first to suspect something

and the headpriest was mostly suspicious becasue she feels "out of place" and "weird" to him

Nothing, she's a pleb daring to put on blue robes.
What this implies is that she's getting all the benefits of being a noble but is getting saddled with none of the responsibilities. he's wanted to punish her and that's it.

>Why the fuck would anyone ever suspect you of being "actually a reincarnator"
He didn't, he suspected, rightfully, that she was not telling him the truth.
Before the mana replenishing ceremony, he knew that she had a lot of mana, but obviously he didn't know how much she had.
After seeing it, he realized how dangerous she could be for the duchy and investigated.

According to the LN, the first one to suspect anything was Otto.

I'm watching it. Don't like the head priest yet. He just mindraped myne last episode without giving her a heads up or obtaining consent.

He did asked her when he was already on her mind.

I didn't want watch anything from this past season because I didn't want to start anything just for it to get delayed. By the time it seemed obvious there wasn't gonna be a delay for this season i figured I'd just wait and binge it. I loved the first season.

It was planned as a split-cour

>it might be better in novel form
no. tried reading that trash and dropped in half way through volume 1. muh superior japanese culture bullshit right out the gate, from an insufferable twat.

Consent doesn't matter, to him, because he will do it anyways. If she refused, I assume she would have been put to death for treason.
I think, in his mind, that it is better if she's just passed out so she can't resist and make a fuss out of it.

It's more like, muh superior modern first world culture

One volume every two months is pretty good though. Last Japanese novel I read they had two volumes in like 4 years and then didn't put out the third one.

I thought he was just trying to scare her to assert dominance and didn't actually plan to cut her

You need to be on Myne's shoes, she's transported from being a girl living in one of the most advanced nations on earth to be reborn in a poor family in a land with no easy access to books.
All her monologue is supossed to represent how much she loathes at the beginning being there, as much as prefer to being dead, and not just because the books, but the hygiene it's horrible, they pee and shit in a bucket and they throw it out by the window.
I thought it was funny how much that spoiled girl was now suffering.

At that point, there's no way to know. If someone comes to you with a gun and acts like and tells you they hate you and will shoot you, you have to assume they will.

He legitimately thinks he can do whatever he wants to her, and is actually right if not for Ferdinand's involvement and the fact that she was actually important for the ritual. He had no idea she actually had a lot of mana and was useful, he probably thought she had even less than he did so her wasting any on the blessing was super retarded to him. He only knows dumb shit the Bishop told him so it isn't really surprising he thinks she is just a problem

I don't know if "spoiled" is called for, there.
She acts like a normal first world country person.
She's no saint, but she's no bastard either. At first everyone was a stranger and she had no incentives to do anymore then she did.
still an asshole, though.

He didn't know if he could trust her or if she was a demon spy or something so asking for her consent would be pretty pointless.

Dropped it at S1 Episode 8. Body-hijacking and the MC not caring about the horrible social chasm between the commoner and the elite put me off. This little slut only cares about opening her legs to whoever gives her books.

waiting for GJM to catch up. haven't watched in weeks because they stopped releasing stuff

Sounds based

Myne is a chaste young lady who would only do such indecent things with her legally wedded husband for the sake of procreation

seeing how she's gonna end up with Ferdinand, I'm not even sure.
