Alright faggots. It's been a while huh and I see you're still circle jerking around shitcoins and p&ds, so. Let's get talking about real, solid steps Zig Forums can take to making it financially.
The obvious thing to do for those of us who are serious about doing something with our lives is to create a product or service that offers consoomers value. ?
>Muh no money to start a business Money isn't the issue here, gooning our brains out watching porn, playing vidya and shitposting is our issue as it erodes our motivation, energy, willpower and hope.
There's literally millions of ways of gaining enough money to start a business. There's getting a job for starters, saving NEET bux, online crowd funding, going door to door asking for a contribution or offering shares in exchange for an investment in your business, asking for a loan from friends and family, getting a small business loan from your local goverment, going to a bank etc etc
So, what business are you gonna start Zig Forums? Now is the time, we're in the prime of our lives, Each day, no fuck that each second that passes by is one less we have left in our lives.
Was thinking about opening up one of those teeth whitening places. All the zoomers are obsessed with having fluorescent white teeth and it’s far cheaper and more convenient that getting veneers. Veneers can be $2000 per tooth, teeth whitening near me costs $99. It’d like printing your own money once you have the laser.

Buy a book on e-commerece and the niche, email a ton of sex shop owners and explain how you're interested in entering the market, google etc.

I'm 30 and I've thought about this long and hard and from about 100 people I know, I can think of only 4 that actually started a business. This doesn't make sense to me because my father's generation, like 50% of them started a business in their 30s or earlier. So are all the young people just lazy or anti-business? Maybe to a bigger extent than their parents are, but they are definitely not opposed to making money. So my belief is it's incredibly harder to make money with a business today than it was decades ago, which is why you simply don't see young people starting them. In fact what it boils down to is simply that it's much harder for your average person to make money now than it was 30-40 years ago, everything is already consolidated.
Liam Thompson
On the other hand what industries do I see booming? A lot of young people whose parents "made it" are now getting into airbnb and renting out their parents property as if it was actually a job or a business..well it is but they're just being parasites on their parents wealth. Lots of people are taking out loans to buy property and rent it out airbnb style until it gets paid off. Lots of drug dealers are doing well, in fact coke dealers seem to be the only young people that are "making it", assuming they're not retarded and have the right connections to not be busted, other than that there's stuff like onlyfans and selling your pussy online. I don't really know a single guy or girl that's from my generation where we could "wow this kid started a business and is now doing really well for himself", it just doesn't really happen.

It's easier than ever to start a business, there's different challenges but different advantages also. Become one of the 4 in 100. "It's hard" is no excuse, if you want it it's there for the taking. But only lions take their pick. Be a lion.
Christopher Turner
im counting stuff like hairdressers, car dealers and run down bar owners among the 4. all 4 of them have a more miserable life than a government clerk. the feel good quotes are bullshit intended for you not to notice that you are getting generationally fucked.
Robert Morgan
You make fair points, what would you recommend me do then. I'm 18 male from Ireland.
Xavier Roberts
imagine how idiotic the poor people who read some quotes about lions and being motivated and competing against others must sound to billionaires or millionaires who made their wealth through networking and conspiracy, not work (working won't make you millions sorry),
Angel Powell
there's nothing you can do. absolutely if you feel like starting a business, start it, i just don't see it working for the majority of people. i mean it's doable to make a living if you're working your ass off, probably just as much as any wageslave, in fact probably more.

Sorry for the multiple posts but it's a topic I'm interested in. But have you noticed how business idea threads always never get anywhere? Or it's always the same retarded ideas. Now this is an interesting question, how come my father's generation all started these businesses but today's youth has basically either no ideas or fails. Are we so radically different? My opinion is that people from the same generation like to make up shit about how they are different than this or that generation, but intrinsically there is no difference between humans. My opinion is that there is no significant difference in work ethic, intelligence or anything else between this generation and the older generation, what's changed is the landscape and opportunities. People who were at the right time at the right place will always say that they succeeded purely because of their ingenuity or work ethic or some shit because thats the narrative they have in their head to feel good about themselves, incidentally if their business fails you seldom see them come up with an equally successful business the second time.

Yup. Not too far off from you.

Your parents weren't competing with Amazon.
Mega corporations have destroyed small businesses. They can do everything a small business can do while often doing it cheaper because they have the capital to subsidize the price of the product or service.
Evan Allen
One more thing. I would love to start a business but what do you want to do? I don't have an idea that doesn't take large amounts of disposable capital to start. The only one that comes to my mind was already used by Daniel Wellington watches. Which is: get a custom manufacturer in China -> have a good design, marketing campaign that's focused on attractive women and social influences -> sell it at x10 margin to westerners. We live in the days of social status more than ever. People buy shit in the case of men: because they either think it's a status symbol and will improve their chances of getting laid with hot women, or they buy it in case of women: because it makes them look like the kind of woman that will attract men with fancy lifestyles and high social status and improve their social standing in the female hierarchy. I think that's probably the only viable outlet with low capital. If you're an engineer perhaps you can come up with something functional. I suck at working with my hands so I can't do it, but if you have any talent for fixing things I'd look into becoming a carpenter or some shit, those people have shitloads of work and with some cool design and marketing which people who are good with their hands are notoriously bad at you could easily separate yourself from the pack and make shitloads of money from custom furniture or some shit like that. That pains me the most, that I suck at working with hands because otherwise I'd already be rich.
Levi Myers
I will never post in this thread until I am so unbelievably rich that nothing can touch me. I'll give you fags a hint though.
It's all in your head that matters + unless you have a fool proof plan, just go for the online market

Is there a place where people can actually talk through their business plans and help eachother out? Might start a telegram or something if people are interested.. I know this is just a shitcoin page though

I came to the same conclusion a few years ago. the way I set it the only frontier available to millennials is to invest heavily in crypto if they want to make serious money. It has similar risk level to starting a business. I think on some level we all know this already and that's why we're here.
Easton Lee
I agree, unfortunately. I wouldn't be in crypto if it were up to me, but it's the only thing that has an actual ROI these days unless you're extremely lucky.
Dylan Walker
Agreed. The only young people I personally know who started successful businesses have all dealt in grey or black markets. The bigger guys can't touch these goods/services so you can still make some $. Anything else is a waste of time unless you have something incredibly innovative and you have the skillset to develop it (most likely have to be a highly intelligent PhD to come up with anything meaningful these days.) Why do you think gambling is growing so fast? Our generation sees no other way out of the wage/debt slave lifestyle.
