looked good despite not seeming particularly faithful to the manga, mappa is just incapable of fucking up animation it seems

Mira is cute

13 episodes confirmed.

by the way, this
twpf.jp/daiou1999

is the work record of a douga checker that works with MAPPA a lot.
In it he list having worked on GoH ep 2,3 and 7.
And that was there BEFORE the show was even officially announced, so schedule is likely not a problem for once.

Sunghoo Park is so based. Hope he does well on Jujutsu Kaisen as well

seems legit, i was worried theyd be rushing through it but the filler stuff in the preview is actually pretty damn good. since theyve got the original author on board its entirely possible they pull off 2 arcs in 13 smoothly

The god of highschool is the gayest most 2003 title I've ever heard.
The animation and art look nice, the designs seem fine. Making a good one on one battle style anime takes more than just having characters fight, this better have good directing if it wants to be good.
crunchy like always know how to make the lamest trailer.
You'd think with all the god damn amv makers out there they could find ONE who could do creative editing better than this trash.

This is key, that fact that the OG author is there giving the thumbs up is a good sign

>takes more than just having characters fight
i remember when i believed that, takes me way back

GoH was decent up until R*******. It dropped the ball hard there.

wasnt this a martial art manga about taekwondo, I read a few chapters thinking it was sone kind of taekwondo educational comic like judo girl yawara but it was some shonen shit with super magical itf taekwondo

in the very first chapter a guy punches a hole in a forest and another guy leaves a gaint handprint crater that covers an island, so i doubt you read any of it at all

Yeah, a main theme of this manhwa is that martial arts > god powers. It's just that people with powers don't practice enough so they get blown out by actual martial arts.

Shoo away gook

naw, we'll just take the space of good shonen anime.

If you wanna blame anyone blame japan shonen since they produced nothing of note last year

Seethe

So this has to be split 2 cour right? I mean the Key Visual shows that they have to animate at least 100 chapters which isn't possible in just 13 episodes

Ragnarok arc was actually good when you binge read the whole thing in my opinion and the current arc is absolutely amazing

seems to be the case, but theres also a chance the key visual was mismatched and theyre only doing the first arc

shounen words but a korean guy

Generic.

I'm talking more about the end of R******* which was unnecessary. The setup for the next arc sucked and right now it's at a decent spot again.

Oh boy finally it's here, another series I can comfortly ignore.

which part of the end specifically? mubong betrayal?

I just think the timeskip wasn't necessary. I have other issues but I'm too lazy to list them right now as I'm in bed. If this thread is up tomorrow I'll post.

yea i can definitely understand that pov although i personally enjoy the thematic elements the timeskip made possible

>oh look, a fairly fun martial arts series
>power levels suddenly shoot above DBZ territory
