Jojo

>title of the show is "Stardust Crusaders"
>not once is the group ever called the Stardust Crusaders
What does that even mean, anyways? What are the crusading for? What does stardust have to do with it?

It means "best part"

It means "monster-of-the-week shit with no characters that actually go through arcs, a MC with the charisma of a box and absolutely not even the slightest hint of a meaningful narrative"

But enough about Part 5

This FUCK part 3
At least part 5 made up for it

>Battle Tendency
>Golden Wind
>Stone Ocean
All have very little if not nothing to do with the series

based

Giorono is less of a character then Jotaro and GER is more of ass pull then SP the World
>oh no can’t beat weaponized lag I guess I’ll use convenient macguffin to make my stand strong to point where I literally cannot be beaten unless I will it.

>Stone Ocean is a metaphor for Green Dolphin Street Prison
>Stone Free implies Jolyne's desire to escape prision

Hello based department

wow thats so deep
It's still nonsense, as are most of the JoJo titles.

She even explicitly states that Stone Free is called that because she wants "to escape from this Stone Ocean".

Well "Stone Ocean" is at least obviously connected to where the story is set

Almost like it was based on a popular song...

they are on a righteous crusade to kill vampire ziggy stardust

>Phantom Blood
Dio the adopted son takes over the Joestar estate, the blood which awakens the Stone Mask
>Battle Tendency
Josef is challenged to battle by the Pillar Men
>Stardust Crusaders
Jotaro and his pals on quest to track down the DIO who has the Joestar star birthmark
>Diamond is Unbreakable
Josuke's sense of justice is unbreakable and he can repair with his stand
>Golden Wind
???
>Stone Ocean
???
>Steel Ball Run
Gyro's steel balls and the race
>Jojolion
???

That's like saying "Well Giorno's hair is golden" no shit its very obvious, doesn't make it any less asinine for a title.

>jojo is challenged to battle
So... every JoJo?

>>Battle Tendency
Great title, but idk what it has to do with part 2

they have a tendency to battle

>Naruto: Battle Tendency

>Phantom Blood meaning both the presence of vampires and the “brotherhood” between Jonathan and Dio
>Battle Tendency because of how combat focused the arc is when it comes the pillarmen
>Stardust Crusaders because Jotaro’s stand is Star Platinum and they’re on a “crusade” to defeat DIO
>Diamond is Unbreakable because Josuke’s stand is Crazy Diamond. Also represents his resolve in finding and defeating Kira.
>Golden Wind is named after Giorono’s stand Gold Experience and he could be described as a “wind of change” for the mafia.
>Stone Ocean has already been explained
>Steel Ball Run is the titular race the arc revolves around
>fuck if I know what Jojolion means
Parts 3-6 have parts of their names taken from protagonist stands if I can point out one more thing.

They literally give him a time and date for their battle and Joseph trains until the day of the match arrives. Like it was a boxing match or something. That doesn't happen in every Jojo.

Jojolion is a combination word of Jojo and Oblivion

>Stone Ocean
>Jojolion
>-lion suffix indicates divine and blessed object (e.g. evangelion)
>Also references Pygmalion, a play where the titular character falls in love with one of his own sculptures, who came to life

The only thing you're convincing me is that all but two of them have pretty shallow meanings or are based on a Jimi Hendrix song.

SBR is the only one with an appropriate title, and rightfully so because it's the best.

>Stone Ocean
A metaphor for the prison
>Jojolion
The gospel of JoJo

How come 8Suke seems so obsessed with saving Holly but literally dosen't care at all about Josefumi's Mother (And Father?)
Like i know Josefumi's mother was a real bitch but damn thats sorta cold.
Dont they at least deserve to like know what happened to their kid?

leave part 7 out of this senpai

>randomly pick dadrock album names
>decades later retards try to find esoteric meanings

Attached: araki-jojo.jpg (266x399, 12.54K)

>woman that saved his life
>woman that left him to die
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, I wonder whyyyyy.

trying to decide who to draw next, maybe mariah or hermes

>Stardust Crusaders
>Jotaro and his pals on quest to track down the DIO who has the Joestar star birthmark

OH I GET IT NOW
>Jotaro and everyone are on a crusade (obviously)
>DIO has the star birthmark
>The crusaders are on DIO's trail (star dust)

She didnt like intentionally leave him to die though.
She was just being a roastie bitch chatting to her Winemom friends how evil men are or whatever.
She obviously genuinely didnt want to drown or was trying to kill him or something

its the evangelion of jojo
not as in the anime evangelion, as in the greek word εὐαγγέλιον. in other words its The Gospel of Josuke, since Jojolion continues the Jojo Christ myth arc
Lions are also heraldric animals associated with kingship so it pulls double duty as being able to be interpreted as "Jojo Kings", refering to the Higashikata family who are the secret kings of Morioh

I'm guessing part 9's name will be some kind of play on Revelations/Apocalypse, and be about a convoluted plan to bring about the true resurrection of Jojo Christ, as a parallel to Stone ocean being about the resurrection of DIO through the green baby
