Wouldn't it make more sense for this series to get a slot in the WSM first? Sounds like the next logical step to me. You start as a new series on the website, get serialized in the magazine, get a anime to push the magazine itself. Why skip the serialization entirely? To push the app? Did that ever happen?

Yeah, considering the announcement is from WSM, it could just be that the series will start serializing in that magazine. It’s still a good thing since it will lead to more exposure of the manga, though an anime adaption would be fantastic as long as it isn’t poorly made. A lot of the jokes require timing to translate well to an animated format.

More Nagatoro exposure is a good thing, especially if it's in front of senpai.

I prefer the biweekly format we have right now.
If the manga got weekly publication then the quality would drop even more and, if hopes for confession/kiss are already relatively low, then in a weekly format they will be completely vanished.

Lately, whenever I think about getting started on something from my "series I should check out eventually" backlog it gets an anime greenlit and I go back to not reading it. Either I've got a sixth sense for greenlights, some god is messing with me or I must be living in a solipsistic reality that bends to my will in the oddest ways.
