Ten > Dorohedoro > Akira > Blame = Monster > Eden > 20th > Gantz

Eden kinda shits the bed, 20th really shits the bed and Gantz was a massacre

Monster > 20th Century Boys > Akira > Blame > Eden > Gantz

Akira>Blame>rest

Akagi > Akira > Homunculus > Monster > Dorohedoro = Blame! > 20th century boys > Eden > Gantz

I've only read Dorohedoro>Gantz>Akira>Monster. What am i missing out on?

>What am i missing out on?
Good taste

>Gantz
>Eden
>Blame!
>Homunculus
>classic seinen
yeah sure

Haven't actually read any of them/9

No.

Why is gantz here? Replace that with freesia or something.

How are they not classics newfag

Is it wrong that i couldn't get into blame? I always see people saying it's evangelion level great but i just think it's chaotic and hard to inmerse into. The paneling is weird and the draws are diffuse and unclear. I think the plot is interesting and the character design is not bad either but ghe paneling just ruins it for me.

Akira > Dorohedoro >Blame! >Eden > Gantz > Homunculus

I haven't read the rest. Akira and Dorohedoro are pretty close for me, but Akira is just so masterfully crafted I believe it sets a really high standard. Even as good as Dorohedoro is, it's not as well planned and tight. Blame! is great, just enjoyment I suppose to put it there. Eden is also great, but it's basically a poor man's Akira, it shows a lot of cracks in the story and some lack of foresight and planning on the author's part, the writing is pretty "eh" at times. Gantz is enjoyable as fuck as dumb as it is though. And Homunculus is a fucking mess trying to pass off as deep, it contradicts itself and have no goddamn idea what it's trying to say or do.

It's a slow burn, you have no idea what's going on at first, but it slowly peels off and the mystery begins to unravel, it's pretty fascinating once you begin to understand more.

user, im honestly interested in why you say "it contradicts itself"
I remember i liked quite a lot (and also being the only one)

You should be forbidden from coming on this board

To be fair Eden's story is much more complex and grand than Akira's so it is harder to write

not for everyone but it truly is a masterpiece

blame>akira>homunculus>monster>dorohedoro>gantz>20th century boys

Honestly my memory is fuzzy, but at one point it tried to insist on the homunculi being just the MCs imagination or whatever and really going for that when it had previously not only done the opposite, but it just made no sense to all of a sudden say they were mere illusions when it was clearly supernatural. At that point the manga seems to lose all direction in my opinion.

True for Eden, though I'm not sure about more complex, but certainly more expansive in scope, more locations, more storylines, more characters, but at the same time it's as they say, don't bite more than you can chew. The ending in particular really shows the downfall in the writing.

They're all good, but Ten can't be beaten.

Dorohedoro > Akira > Blame >> Gantz

Haven't read the rest

Monster is by far the worst one here.

Blame: havent read because read another manga by him, and it sucked.
Monster: 8/10
20th century boys: 10/10
doroheshit: 1/10 (one of the trashiest manga I ever read)
Akira: 5/10
Eden its an endless world: 8/10
Ten: 2/10 (Fukumoto´s early manga are trash. Kaiji part 3 is mahjong done right, and yet, is Kaiji´s weakest part).
Gantz: 9/10
Homunculus: 10/10

Your taste is shit.

How is it possible to be so consistently wrong?

freesia is trash

low bait

you are a bunch of faggots.

2 isn't a "bunch" you fucking retard

Homunculus >20th century boys > the rest

Most obvious sameposting I've ever seen

Dorohedoro > Blame = Monster > Akira > Eden >Ten > 20th > Gantz
