What if we took The Caves of Steel

>what if we took The Caves of Steel
>but made it yuri instead

>LNs
I sleep
Call again when they make a manga out of it

yuri makes everything better

>illustrations by the goddess herself
Picked up.

>LN
yeah am yurifag but I'll pass

>>>/lgtb/

>tomboy yuri
Yuri cannot stop winning.

You sure it's tomboy? Both of them have bandages so it might be bullied girl x bullied girl

>You sure it's tomboy?
It is coming from a short haired one.

What if they're beating each other?

>Only two of those are yuri, the rest are either slice of life or shows where the girls have male love interests
And that's why true yuri is so rare: the fanbase is willing to accept anything as yuri.

What are you talking about? Most of these don't even have males.

>Kannazuki no Miko, Pandora, Wataten, and Yuru Yuri are published with yuri genre tags
>Toji no Miko, YuYuYu, Slow Start, Ange Vierge, Granbelm, and Mahou Shoujo Site have all had romantic kisses in the show or surrounding media
>Flip Flappers and Princess Principle were said to be explicitly romantic by their directors
It's more than just two.

But tomboy isn't a hairstyle...

No, it's a gene.

Nah, it's just two.
Bait =/= yuri.
Headcanon =/= yuri.

>Edited out Railgun T and Two Car from the original image, instead copypasting Symphogear three times to make it look more "legitimate"
It's like you fags unconsciously know you're retards but don't want to accept it.

I don't want to edit them into a single image.

- The tag "yuri" is meaningless these days because it's used for any work featuring two or more females interacting with each other, regardless of the nature of said interaction. It doesn't matter if the girls are straight and have boyfriends, if they talk or are friendly to each other it's automatically classified as yuri.
That's why Hibike Euphonium is universally considered the ultimate yuri story even when Kumiko ends with a boyfriend.
- Lesbian characters don't make something yuri. For example Cross Ange has never been considered yuri even when a considerable part of the secondary cast are outright, non ambiguous lesbians. Same with Sailor Moon.
- The directors will say anything to sell BDs. If it isn't explicit on the actual work, then it doesn't exist.

What's the synopsis?

You don't think it'll be adapted into manga soon enough?
Speaking of LN, there is this yuri LN illustrated by Takeshima Eku.

Good luck convincing those Tiger & Bunny fag on that.

>Hibike Euphonium is universally considered the ultimate yuri story
According to who? Show me where the publishers or author advertised it as yuri.

>how dare you post lesbians on your yuri chart
Is this really the hill you want to die on?

>directors will say anything to sell BDs
If that's true, why don't all directors explicitly confirm the girls as gay? And I thought yuri doesn't sell to non-yuri otaku, so wouldn't this only hurt sales?

>manga adaptation
Those are usually monthly releases so it'll take an entire year or two to adapt a single light novel volume. And for the most part they skip content, specifically side content. Sometimes they don't even adapt some of the volumes that come before the last one and skip straight to the latter half of the last book. Absolutely not worth it.

There is manga version too.
>if they talk or are friendly to each other it's automatically classified as yuri.
Don't lump online shitposting with actual classification. Only actual yuri works are tagged so by publishers

I dunno, the thing is almost all of the het manga/anime that I've read/watch that were based on a LN are almost always garbage. The romance/harem ones in particular almost always devolve into forced love triangle drama, the worst romance trope of all time, and it's almost always stretched out for far too long to milk shipwarfags until they're dry. It traumatized me to the point of thinking everything based on LNs are garbage
How are yuri LNs in comparison? I've heard Adachi to Shimamura is pretty good and it's on my to-read list but I dunno about other yuri LNs

It's nothing like caves of steel you faggot.

Romance Manga of the Year

We entered that age when Kyoani was burned down. Now we are free from their Hibikek yuribaiting clutches.
>Adachi to Shimamura
>Assault Lily
>Kuma Bear
>Fruit Tart
>Vladlove
>Otherside Picnic
>Majo no Tabitabi
So many yuri anime was announced since then.
