Can't say that I have a good feeling about this. The tone feels all over the place, with the simple and colorful design and constant cartoony slapstick clashing with the gritty setting with deaths and amputated limbs. The MC feels like the most stereotypical genki girl ever created, and the grumpy old man isn't much better. The script feels lazy in general, with a big infodump about the setting within the first 5 minutes. I'm not writing it off yet but my expectations were higher.

Death Parade kept it contained, though. The twister episode was zany and completely different from the rest sure but it was a one time diversion that didn't leak outside of its episode. Here the overall direction feels off.
