Lets have a real talk
Does the virginity of the heroines matter to you?
Lets have a real talk
Of course not.
Of course it does.
In romances yes, I only want pure relationships
It depends. If they are virgins, it's important to see them lose it.
If the main girl is not a virgin then I know that the writer isn't appealing to the cancerous purefags which is instantly +1 in my book.
It doesn't matter in the sense of "ruined forever" etc., but depending on the heroine I have some expectations.
not really, at least not a much as it seems to matter to others here.
If your heroine needs her hymen to be appealing then you're probably writing something for retarded Idolfag otaku morons and it's a shitty work. Not that Im advocating she needs to be a slut but I am advocating that she needs to be a character, with a life, a past a goal and some dreams. This may or may not include a sexual history depending on the nature of the story. But we should judge characters on their actual merits on not whether to pretend waifu is somehow still "pure."
If they aren't virgin then they need to be way better and work way harder. Unless they are a milf of course. Men can be seperated into three groups in this matter.
>Sluts are easy holes.
>Used? Trash can.
>MOMMY.
based
It means everything.
Yes
If I wanted to watch some nonvirgin skanks dryhump a Chad I'd watch live action garbage.
nah even better if she is not a virgin
In principle not, though I agree with . In practice purityfags are about the most obnoxious subgroup of Zig Forumsutists there is, and while I'd like to be free of spite I can't help but appreciate things that make purityfags seethe. In that way heroines' virginity does sort of matter. All in all, though, it depends on the specific character and story. The main thing is that things make sense in the context and fit the tone of the story.
>Does the virginity of the heroines matter to you?
Only if MC isn't a virgin either, then it evens out.
Nah.
yes, why shouldn't it matter?
Yes. But not in the way you assume.
I'd she's explicitly said to be a virgin but treated like a slut by everyone, it ruins my suspension of disbelief.
If the characters are in highschool I would mind a little, but is not an absolute deal breaker. If they are older I only mind if the girl sleeps around and that is a source of drama, and of course if they begin to show romantic feelings and then have sex with another guy is a no-no.
The situation I feel the most conflicted about is if they had a slut phase and then they regret it, I think I should not care but I feel like disliking the character.
I don't really care, what's more annoying is when some authors try to make a big deal out of it
No
If I wanted to fall in love with used goods, I'd go outside.
Also, is that translation legit? That bitch is the last girl in that manga I'd expect to have taken dick.
Yes, I value purity a lot. I mean, nonvirgin women aren't necessarily bad I just like women who kept themselves pure for the right person a lot.
Obviously pure women in anime werr meant to pander to people like me who are virgins themselves in their late 20s as well, but regardless society values virgin women a lot for a reason.
I don't see the point in going out of your way as an author in writing a second hand heroine unless they are a mommy milf or if it has a specific storytelling purpose. As a side characteristic, it uglifies their relationship with their MC, like a bruise on an otherwise shiny apple.
Sluts are fun
all women are whores
Depends on the girl. For example the one you just posted, getting embarassed by hand-touching and acting like a very innocent girl despite begin a non-virgin, is just so irrealistic and absurd it makes her bad because the author is just pulling that bullshit for shock value and nothing else.
only when you turn off your brain
usually yes, but if MC is not a virgin I don't care
i'd be wary of that translation before being wary of her being a non-virgin
No. Why would it?
