Imaishi is good with making stupid plots entertaining, and also has a HUGE fixation for some reason with settings that have a rigid social higher archy or some form of discrimination

I am expecting the usual Trigger pattern of cool looking visuals/trailers and then absolute dogshit garbage in the actual show, with SSSS.GRIDMAN being the exception and even half of that was shit.

Nakashima is the one who focuses on rigid social hierarchy although it does fit in nicely with Imaishi's general "fuck authority" attitude

Ah, you're right, forgive me - though they do always tend to run as a pair together. They'd be the perfect duo for a lighthearted actiony series in Cyberpunk that was also still in line with the themes that are present in the genre.
