From which chapter it started diverging from the manga?
Gleipnir Thread
Around the end of chapter 35
This show started off mediocre but by the end it was a mess. Is the manga finished? Do they end the game? After such a shitty ending, I have no interest in actually reading this series.
I think it's still ongoing
What happened in the show? Anime original ending?
As someone who hasn't read the manga, the ending was shit. If it's anime original it would make more sense but even by the halfway point of the show it looked like they stopped having any idea of what they were doing.
As always, they want you to pick up the manga
This episode completely invalidated how elena acted when she first saw shuichi and clair
It did not deviate from the overall plot of the manga. Glasses-kun dying is a major character deviation, as he's alive in the manga, and the fight in the last episode was also anime original. Outside that and the gang dissolving in the last episode, I don't remember any major divergence.
If they ever do a S2 they will need to come up with a way to have the gang together by the first 3 episodes, and they'll need to pray that Glasses-kun does not appear again in the manga in any important role.
>s2
I don't think they need to worry about that
That do sound like a big difference though, too bad since I really liked the anime but I doubt we'll ever see a S2 now.
>don't go for anime original end
>change things randomly anyway
Buy why
Glasses-kun seemed like such a non-character that I can hardly imagine him being relevant in the manga
Also the fight was the only significant animation this show had since like the first episode or so
I just caught up to the manga, It feels like glasses was brought back just to get Yoshioka killed and probably have Claire in a situation where she could potentially help save Yoshioka but opt against it, further driving down the point that she is a "demon".
It depends what he'll do with the coins, probably the alien will fuck him over though
This is the cuck that was mad at Shuichi right?
Chinks will save gleipnir
Yes and he got coins from Madoka.
Gleipnir? More like Glopnir
who
So I assume he didn't die in the fire
This was better than I expected it to be by a large margin. I don't know how an ecchi show managed to have more subtlety in some of its storytelling than most other shows. Setting up the messy house scene as early as episode two with Shuichi cleaning clair's mildly messy apartment was grand.
It’s selling well?
Would his life be better if his parents didn't have such a shit naming taste?
The last fight scene was pretty nice
>pray he doesn't reappear
why would you expect him to, they don't just make these decisions in a void they probably consult with the author to see if he's okay with it
This. I expect a good amount of the changes/additions to be addressed at some point in the manga like schizo Shuichi and his dead parents
>as he's alive in the manga
How unfortunate, I was glad when he died.
It still seems pretty weird that the anime killed glasses-kun.
I doubt this is something that was done without the approval of the mangaka.
