Miyazaki and Takahata are the reason why anime is the degradative mainstream medium it is today. If Japanese moviemakers were inspired by actual art-films like Prince Achmed and Jiří Trnka's filmography...

Anime and animation as a whole would be taken more seriously to be considered acceptable in global society.

This the other way around, Miyazaki is a kike. He creates trends, he capitalizes on his own country's downfall by degradatives being influenced by his work (See the 90s recession) and he has the same ambition as Toei in the 60s to monopolize on anime.

Like Disney in the west, anime is a monotone medium unlike live-action there film production is controlled by a few people. Walt destroyed their competitors because they have the budget and normalfag appeal to do so.
With Miyazaki and Takahata it's the same thing, but their process was slower as they began their carrier on the incompetent Toei Animation which had the goal to imitate Disney without the understanding of why Disney has the monopoly in animation in the west to begin with.
All it took for Ghibli's total domination in the anime industry was to carefully create anime which fulfill degradatives' demand (anime like Horus, Heidi and the leftist Lupin III film).
In a slow and painful process, anime that we are associate with become a thing. Shallow storytelling, corporate propaganda, sexual degradation like and the group mentality which results in trend following.

The ones to blame for animation as a medium being nothing more than an autist's thing actual people hates. First, blame Disney for their influence in the west, and then blame Ghibli for destroying it. There is a reason why films like Parasite will be remembered as a masterpiece over anything animation has to offer.
