I'm 11 episodes into Darling in the Franxx, and oh boy is this show bad. The first 6 eps were the worst, but these later episodes are like the Monster of the week section from Eva, but soulless and boring.

I would. It's completely soulless. It has the most basic setting of ''dystopia where kids don't know about sex, but still fall in love''. I'm nearing the half way point, and I don't care for the main couple, or any of the side characters. Nobody is interesting in this. Also for a monster of the week show, the monster designs suck ass. And nothing is ever explained. Shit just happens and neither the show nor the characters don't question anything. Also the goddamn sex metaphors are so fucking heavy handed and un-subtle, it almost feels like its written by a teenager, who thinks he is a genius and winks at you every time you read another one of his lousy metaphors. This show is uninteresting, soulless, boring, pretentious and it doesn't grab me at all.
