Don't let your judgement on whether or not to watch be based off of others perception of it. I personally think it's a great SoL anime that has some lovely, funny moments and an emotionally satisfying conclusion. It has great songs too, but don't expect the focus to be on the musical side. I think you should watch it, but if you don't like it you can always stop

It is CGDCT. CGDCT is niche as fuck. It is mostly for working adults who have shitty jobs so they can relax to something cute at the end of a shitty day. Teenage battleshonen fans who require action and fast-moving, event-filled plots to keep their attention span need not apply.
