Cowboy Bebop is discount Kino no Tabi. Now that's a good episodic show that still feels like it has stakes, Episode 2 is some heavy shit.
Eva is not overrated, it's just ruined. The first half is rightly rated as exceedingly good and would have been a solid 10/10 if Anno didn't go full Freud with weird sexual shit and mind screwing the audience with depression and symbolism.

HXH is great, It's one of the few anime's that even my wife will shut the fuck and watch because of it's captivating world and rubber/gum.

It looks really REALLY cool and serious. There's that giant Bahamut monster, martial arts, motorcycles, dudes wearing black leather and fighting with swords like a better version of The Matrix, and something of a curse and the end of the world at the beginning. Also I saw it before playing FF7 so I didn't care for any of its supposed flaws, it's what got me into the game

Do only women like this show? I don't see how this can appeal to the average user
