Just google the plugin for it. It's retard proof setup and it has a pretty decent amount of options for pumping them out. Crop, resolution scaling etc.

Plugins don't work. If you need any more reasons than that there's also the fact that no one except the guy who wrote it uses that steaming pile of .Net shit mostly because there are a myriad of other, better gui forks. Just use vanilla mpv and edit the config once and you're good

MPCHC has MadVR doesn't it? I thought that gave it an edge over MPV. MPV for me looks too blurry at default settings, but it actually works well for some of my old anime where you can see slight deinterlacing aftermath, so I just use both.
