The idea of someone being absolutely unconditionally in love with me to the point of insanity is something that I really like. This. I think the fact that they are socially awkward and crazy as well as lonely plays a big role for the attraction people have for them. Can also agree about otaku or autistmo women thinking the same. Male yandere are incredibly popular among that species.
