Exactly my thoughts. Like, I gotta give the author some credit because his art improved at light speed (remember the first chapters? Literally worse than deviantart tier) but it's still pretty awful and still feels like a fanfic >...and Naruto's son, Boruto, gets his own tattoo mode on his hand and face and he gets a doujutsu like Byakugan but not really Byakugan and no it's not the Tenseigan from the movie it's a super duper even stranger doujutsu only Boruto has, he's also jonin level despite being a genin and his father don't understand him because hello?? adults???
