Did you miss the part where the only reason Jotaro managed to freeze time against Pucci before getting gibbed in the first place is because he had to have someone literally die as a distraction

Well obviously there are counters for specific stands. Theres a pretty objective through-line that you can make for the stands' power scaling though.

Its like how in fighting games, a character can be top tier but have a few bad matchups.

Jotaro only got as close to killing Pucci as he did thanks to Anasui taking the hit. Otherwise he would have gotten his throat sliced after seeing Pucci on the palm tree

The only reason he needed a distraction was because there were so many people he needed to keep track of. He should be able to defeat MiH in a one on one with no distractions. Instant Time-Stop cucks time acceleration

The timestop doesn't even work properly in MiH, that's the entire point. Pucci could run up and murder him before the time stop activated. That's why Anasui had to use Diver Down to tank the first hit and why Pucci had to kill him first. The only reason Pucci didn't completely kill everyone is because Anasui's Diver Down could prevent Jotaro from getting instantly gibbed, giving him a feeling signal to stop time and whack Pucci in stopped time.
And even with this huge advantage of having a different stand tell you the moment to stop time, Pucci was still fast enough to walk up to Jolyne, use her stand to fist Anasui and surround her with knives in the time it took Jotaro to "Instantly" stop time.

MiH is an absolute curbstomp against any other stand aside from perhaps GER.

MiH accelerates at an exponential rate. If you were to have Jotaro and Pucci fight 1 on 1 right as the Acceleration began, you would have a dead priest.

Tusk Act 4 can be avoided while MiH stalemate Love Train (unless Valentine try to go to the offensive for whatever reason)

Tusk act 4 isnt avoidable for an indefinite time. Tusk act 4 has infinite energy, meaning infinite speed, while Pucci has speed that is constantly increasing towards infinity. Eventually he gets hit and dies

No? MiH's activation knocked them all out and Pucci hid while the time acceleration began to kick in. There was no opportunity to fight Pucci after MiH activated, the closest Jotaro got was seeing a glimpse of him behind the trees.

Exactly. the events of the manga didnt allow for there to be a fair one on one between Jotaro and Pucci.

So are we judging the stands at their weakest point or their most powerful? Because if we are going to judge Made in Heaven at its weakest, you have to judge star platinum by the point where could barely stop time for a fraction of a second.

I would like to vouch for Boys II Men, that thing should be on a category of its own, it has the potential to be the absolute strongest stand with no drawbacks to the user as far as I remember. Just win a game of rock paper scissors and you win someone else's stand, that's broken as hell.
