I can't have a girlfriend or children in real life so this is the next best thing.
>why yes
>why yes, my favorite anime is Hidamari Sketch, how could you tell?
They make my heart go doki doki after a long day of being a wagecuck
Yes, and?
Women and children aren't the ultimate goal of your life, user. Women always appear as a side quest when you're on a path to your goal. Have dreams, have ambitions beyond that.

A long time ago during final year psych I found out it is undeniable that people that think age is relatable to what you enjoy is proof of mental immaturity.
The whole Chuunibyo discussion but far more in depth. Being 15 and liking black coffee is fine. Being 15 and liking black coffee because you think it makes you older and mature is actual proof of your immaturity. Even worse when you go around announcing you like it to seem 'cool'
Thinking hobbies or what you like are age related after somewhere in your teens (when you grow out of your child capable mind and into your adult mind you have until death) is not only ignorant but shows lack of self maturity and reflection.
Pic related to OP for being a kid that hasn't understood this yet.

Imagine being a child with underdeveloped taste.
What stops you from having a family?
I'm 42 bigot.

“Critics who treat 'adult' as a term of approval, instead of as a merely descriptive term, cannot be adult themselves. To be concerned about being grown up, to admire the grown up because it is grown up, to blush at the suspicion of being childish; these things are the marks of childhood and adolescence. And in childhood and adolescence they are, in moderation, healthy symptoms. Young things ought to want to grow. But to carry on into middle life or even into early manhood this concern about being adult is a mark of really arrested development. When I was ten, I read fairy tales in secret and would have been ashamed if I had been found doing so. Now that I am fifty I read them openly. When I became a man I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up.”

Don't feel bad OP, I'm actually almost 30 so at least you got ome
Always wondered what came after the moeblob stage.
I was born without genitals.
I didn't start watching anime until mid twenties. I gravitated towards cute girls rather quickly and haven't stopped.
Almost 40, user.
I was exactly the type of person who complained about moeshit as a teenager.
Now it's all I watch. Funny how that works out.
The only things nips do objectively better than the west is porn and SoL qt girls, why even bother with the other, inferior products?
If you like something, like it and enjoy it. There's nothing deep about it.
Accurate
the same reason why I am a gamer
Cutting out anything light and joyful in life because of societal pressure and perceived associations with maturity is why so many people are unhappy. People have some weird delusion that just because something isnt challenging, it means its only for kids. Adults are allowed to have fun.
dun got no balls eh
