You're watching the best shonen ever made. There's lots of fillers in both series so filter them if you want to although they have soul.

Don't want shitpooden, skip filler and watch the subbed version.

Did shonen have themes before Naruto? Cause I don't think they had.

Don't. Any other shonen feels like shit now after watching it. I can't enjoy other series without comparing them to Naruto.

Don’t watch Shittuden and watch all of the fillers for maximum entertainment.

Once you watch episode 135, skip to shippuuden. The rest of the Naruto series is just filler.

Don't assume that hardwork is core theme of series, cause if you do you gonna get disappointed at end of series. that's other two characters shtick not core theme of Naruto.

Anyway only Naruto and Naruto Shippuden matters, Boruto is fanfiction.
Don't skip Guren and Chikara(Power/Strenght) Kakashi, Itachi and Shisui filler since they are kino

i have 2:
1- skip all the filler, none of it it's even remotely worth it
2- throughout all of original naruto remember that from the beginning naruto was destined to be the savior of mankind, his super powerfull dad was the president of a world superpower and everyone on the leaf village knew about naruto's parentage and socioeconomical position

You can skip about 80 episodes of the first season. Might as well get an overview on YouTube and watch Shippuden.

Read the manga

Don't listen to people telling you not to watch Shippuden. It has it's flaws, and the end is kind of a cluster fuck, but the Gaara rescue arc as well as most of the major fights are kino. If you want to skip anything, then you should pick and choose which filler episodes you don't want to watch based on the summaries.
