Nah chainsaw man isnt in endgame. I get the feeling the reveal of makima is supposed to signify we are near the halfway point.
When Denji learns about Makima's true identity, and we get an arc where he decides on what to feel about her(it will be that he will follow her), that will be the end of the halfway point.
The second half will be Denji learning to rip himself away from makima. I also think heaven will come into play, cuz heaven is confirmed by Angel devil who said that a girl dying wont go to hell.
There's also the fact that katana devil hybrid is captured, Reze and Eyepatch hybrid are probably still alive, and gun devil is likely a hybrid. It means you have a perfect mix of elements to keep the story going for a second part. It'll probably end around chapter 200.
