I'm getting through a lot of manga. For anime I was watching more at work than I have while furloughed.

I've worked everyday because I work on a pig farm.

My backlog is mostly shows that haven't even aired yet. I'm almost caught up.

It has nothing to do with corona tho.

I finished Slayers and some gay anime called Dennou Coil, I watched Ghost in the shell, Tank police when the riots started and some movies, played Dies Irae and finished the absolutely dogshit Kasumi route and played some Deus Machina Demonbane, finished Kikokugai which an user recommended me 4 years ago.

Anyway, I found a great anime called 3x3 Eyes. That alone makes the COVID worth it.

No new anime means I have to search for other anime to watch sadly.

Yup, even in a few weeks we'll see a surge in the US because of partying during July 4th weekend.

My work just had someone test positive for the plague so even the few people working in the office that weren't working from home got sent home for a week or two.

I barely felt the effects of quarantine in the first place since I haven't done offline classes since I left high school and rarely left the house to begin with. I never really felt "locked in" or trapped, I'm doing all the same things as I did before. Backlog isn't much lighter.

Yeah casinos are open too so of course some idiots (usually the elderly because god damn it why do they go to casinos) got sick near where I live.

I've been reading four volumes worth of manga everyday for about a month.

I should add to this that I am changing what I watch because from summer until the virus dies down, the only new shows I'll be watching as they come out are Netflix anime and movies that would already be completed. I'll continue the spring shows that got delayed, I'm watching Japan Sinks, Great Pretender and Re;Zero, and everything else new I'll wait until it finishes up. I have very little faith that Tokyo won't go on lockdown again this year and fuck things up again. Besides, I have a big backlog and summer doesn't look that great anyway other than a few shows like Lapis Re:Lights.

The virus is spreading all over the damn country. I'm not going anywhere.

Also my backlog only gets bigger, never shorter.
