The Olympics don't even have this competition. Only real rifle shooting. This is a plot point in both the anime and the manga.

I'm not sure how serious this series was anyway. They talked about the target 10m away with an error range from several mm, and then continued to fire almost perfect shots for the next 45 mins. Imagine hitting a pin head three rooms away 60 times in a row.
