Yeah it's kind of a shame it was so focused on Japanese literature tho, I think of all the authors they talked about I'd only even heard of maybe two of them. It's a funny series anyway, but I think I prefer Miss Bernard Said for this reason.

Myne's obsession is with books generally and reading them being an end in itself, whereas other book-obsessed isekai protagonists might not care so much about the medium of books but the tropes of the specific stories they've read.
