Yes, that sounds about right. The entire story has been consistent with just how much more capable All Might was than Endeavor. He appeared LITERALLY INSANE to other people for even trying to reach, let alone surpass him. The guy just got BTFO by Shigaraki while Doctor Ujiko explained that of course the physical modifications could never be All Might level on their own. So far, Enji's struggles to maintain peace in Japan in the absence of All Might have been shown to be an extremely unsteady uphill battle. All very consistent. He needs the new, more powerful next generation's help as soon as possible, this is what it's all coming to.

Endeavor is kinda like Batman with flame abilities and is well established to be something of a god tier detective with the most cases solved under his belt out of any hero.

If Stain can survive and continue to fight after Deku punch, so can Endy.
