Is it like Berserk?
Is it like Berserk?
It's better.
meh too much drama iirc
kinda sorta not really no
Way better.
No. But is good.
Not really.
>anyone who can fight isn't human
>there's cool powers but really whoever is a regeneration freak or a speed freak wins
>has modular body parts shit like naruto
Claymore is epic, way better than the Anime, a must read
Too much powerlevel bullshit
No and I seriously don't understand why people compare the two.
If I had to guess the people that do it never read either.
They did it even with Akame ga kill.
When people see a shonen that is not a copypaste of wan piss or naruto: "it's like berzerkz !!!1!!!1!"
They are both dark fantasy. Though they share almost none of the same themes. I guess the two they share the most are that there are former human monsters that can blend in with humanity whiling eating humans, and big swords for big damage.
It peaked early (by the fight with the dicks monster) , and then became diet Bleach.
It's the medieval fantasy setting.
And Claymore also has a rape scene early in the manga.
Claire being able to defeat Ricardo was pure fucking bullshit
Inability to spot similarities between slightly different objects is a telltale sign of many mental disorders, such as schizophrenia or low-functioning autism. For example a schizo will tell you that a red pen and a blue pen have nothing in common with each other, or that Claymore isn’t a “let’s rip-off Berserk but also add waifus.”
Elaborate or I suggest you find a streaming medium and broadcast your suicide, braindead trash.
lmao I like this post. Stealing it for later use.
Better if only for these simple facts:
>Yagi's art didn't degrade
>he never went on several year-long hiatuses
>didn't get mindbroken by a videogame to the point it affected his work and career
>didn't blatantly insert his disgusting fetishes
>actually finished the damn thing
Also, unironically Yagi's monster designs are far better than Miura's.
t. Bersercuck
Wasn't the finale somewhat of a sequel bait? I mean its revelled to the reader that beyond the island there is a human kingdom at war with roided up dinosaurs, I hope we get a sequel that explores this foreign landmass, its people, politics and even the biology of the monsters, And to add to that, we know that women make better candidates because they can contain their "desire" and not give in to "temptation", its never explained what it is that pushes them, to become monsters.
Also the geopolitics of the island are only slightly grazed over by the mangaka, we know that exploratory ships that have been sent out never found anything so I assume the islanders think of themselves as always being there since the world was made, which leads into religion, there is a church and consequently a religion, we just know it copies Catholic optics, but thats about it, like in every other piece of jap media, they just copy the catholic style and never go into what it preaches, do they have a messiah figure? is there an afterlife? 10 commandments? I think this stems from their own religion shinto, which is more of an agglomeration of national/local folklore and thus the stories of the "land" exist in the same narrative as stories of "god", unlike Abrahamic religions, namely Christianity, countries like Britain, Germany, Russia have different folklore but their people worship the same god, albeit through different lenses (protestant/orthodox/catholic).
How is their island ruled? , we see cities, villages, but we are not told how its ruled and who rules it, and this is not a problem in Berserk, we see the king of Midland, even a count that Guts fought and defeated, then Falconia rises and in "recent" chapters we see what I assume to be the royal council, discussing the influx of foreigners and an educational system, we know where Apostoles come from, we know so much it puts Claymore to shame.
>inb4. George "Taxes" Martin
its pretty good.
The gore and the dark fantasy obviously have a similarity, but I think Berserk is a little bit better than Claymore, provided it got nice conclusion to the story.
No and that's a good thing
THIS
Claymore is like a dick, strong start but cheesy end
>I hope we get a sequel
it's been years, user
give up
I killed you're waifu
What who got raped? I can't remember anyone getting raped unless you mean Theresa which she didn't get raped she was just flashing.
this
Imagine typing all this over a series where the mangaka clearly stop giving a shit towards the end. The mangaka got bored of the series and went on to write something even shittier.
>AN INTELLIGENT DISCUSSION??!?!?
>ON MYYYYYYY BOARDDD!?!??!
>REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
