Not really, besides looking like a retard it seems like a bad fit since Luffy looking 46 years older than the rest is quite the disconnect from his youthful persona.

Don't know about their acting abilities but based on looks I like Usopp, Nami and Zoro. Luffy guy looks autistic so he kinda fits but will probably be annoying to watch. Sanji is too handsome, he should look like Luffy's actor.

We don't know if anyone has been casted yet. This could end up not being the actual cast in the end. Acting wise, the only one who's been in anything notable is Lewis Tan who does being a tough guy well enough for Zoro.

So long as they have 2006 era effects, they can pull off pirates of the Caribbean tier effects. I doubt they will change important stuff like Laboon. But they definitely are gonna cut down on fat to get through all ten episodes a season.

Laboon won't make it, Reverse Mountain journey would be the end cliffhanger at best and by then the series will be cancelled and the actors executed.
