I don't. Watch what you want, when you want. Chasing the new because you fear missing something is an impossible task.

curiosity towards new anime?
I mean I'm not like you, I don't automatically dismiss entire genres in order to role play as some critic

not being a newfag, watch more anime

I wish I could tell you.

What do you find yourself cycling through?

i have never ever had this urge, you should probably watch more anime

I've been watching anime since 1998 and despite mostly watching airing stuff or stuff I haven't seen before it's so tempting to just watch the classics over and over.

lol hi gramps do u kno how 2 use computer lololololo

Can't leave Zig Forums so have to watch seasonal anime to have something new to talk about. You can only talk about Nasuverse powerlevels so many times...

>Can't leave Zig Forums so have to watch seasonal anime to have something new to talk about.
it's only fun when there's massive amounts of meme, hype and shitposting. Otherwise it's just manga elitists ruining discourse for anime onlys.

I've fallen asleep watching a few cowboy bebop episodes. Mainly cause the vibe on several episodes are relaxing, particularly for Jupiter Jazz

>rewatching things
how the fuck do you do this?
It's always a one-and-done deal for me since there's no thrill in watching something where you already know what happens

based

because you notice lots of things you wouldn't have the first time.

>there's no thrill in watching something where you already know what happens
I don't always watch things for a "thrill" or for the suspense of not knowing what happens.

my gf wouldn't let me live down the cringe of becoming this small a man who wants to live in a cave of nostalgia

thanks for the bump chad

I don't think there's anything wrong with that, especially given your other posts.
When did the last new anime that you watched and really enjoyed come out? For me it's rare enough that I find it's a better use of my time to rewatch old favorites with a more critical eye or just to relax than to force myself to try new stuff. That said I still take a look at what's coming out every season.

>When did the last new anime that you watched and really enjoyed come out?
Vinland Saga was very good.

>For me it's rare enough that I find it's a better use of my time to rewatch old favorites with a more critical eye or just to relax than to force myself to try new stuff. That said I still take a look at what's coming out every season.
A man of taste. What are your go to anime to rewatch?

I don't have that urge. I'm not a god damn faggot.

simmer down bro

>Vinland Saga was very good.
That's nice to hear, I haven't tried that yet so maybe I'll give it a go soon.

Currently I'm rewatching Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei, which was triggered by Kakushigoto airing this past season which I really enjoyed. It's so dense that I feel like I'm always picking up on something new.

Go for it, the ending gave me goosebumps that I haven't felt in years.

>Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei
I'll check this out, what's it about?

Do you only watch 1 sunset, eat a meal 1 time, listen to a song/album once, when you finally get to have sex do you think you will only want to do it once?

I'm surprised you haven't heard of it.
On one level it's about a high school teacher interacting with his class of students, but that's mostly a vehicle for Kumeta (creator of the original manga) to rant about various things in Japanese society. The humor isn't for everyone, but as someone with a similar cynical bent I find it highly enjoyable. Also the directing is great. Even if you don't like the show you should watch the OPs.

holy shit lurk more you fucking faggot

2007 so it's from a dark era in my anime watching history where I was mostly gated to watching whatever my cable on demand had or was on tv.

be nice

>there's no thrill in watching something where you already know what happens
I disagree. imo it's because I know what happens and enjoyed it the first time that I want to go through the whole thing again because I like it. I also enjoy seeing if my opinion on a show changes over time or if I missed any minor details in the early episodes.

Eat shit retard, you don't have any right to be coddled. Perhaps reddit is more your speed.

I've been on this website longer than you.

You're trying too hard

I never watch the same anime twice unless my memory of it is foggy

You don't

I don’t. I don’t watch new anime, I read new manga and if I like the manga I’ll pick up the anime, else I’ll just rewatch an anime I already like.

if you had you'd know one of the all time most popular shows here so no, I very much doubt that.

I presumed that it fell in some weird gap like that, but still. It's not exactly hugely popular here but it has threads every now and then, especially this past season where it had a bunch and most non-airing day Kakushigoto threads were at least half SZS stuff.
But whatever. Hope you enjoy if you decide to try it. Just remember that Nami is best girl.
