Antagonist takes the protagonist's virginity

>antagonist takes the protagonist's virginity
Is there another anime that does this?

Utena's too deep for that binary shit user. Deep down, Dios is still inside him. On some level his actions stem from the purehearted innocence he once had.

Reminder
>treats his fucking imouto so shit he causes her and MC both to run away and become bisluts
Worse than Frieza. Hope this faggot died, so I can appreciate my emperor being alive again even more.

Gonna be honest, I prefer Penguindrum to Utena.

We heard you in the last thread user

bahamut 2

He's the antagonist. His philosophy is antithetical to the plot and MC and his state at the end is a karmic defeat appropriate for him. He's a fallen hero but still an antagonist.

Berserk?

Still don't quite get Penguindrum
but then again it took me years to get Utena

If you're counting hentai that opens up a lot of options.

I really like the first ED

Yeah that sounds right. I felt a lot of sympathy for his character on my 2nd watch. Utena was manipulated the entire series by Anthy, but never gave up on her despite her being painted as an irredeemable witch. Nobody's really going to bother saving the Dios inside Akio.

Does Gutts molestation count?

Even though Utena is filled to the brim with dykes and bis and perverts of all sorts I always felt like their desire to "revolutionize the world" meant something far more meaningful than "my identity politics". But once the real world gays got a hold of this series there's just no way to get a word about this series in edgewise around their rainbow flags anymore. Such a shame.

Based reasonable user

Donovan is not really an antagonist for any amount of time. Guts kills him like the next chapter.

I really like Utena for the art and music but I feel like a fucking brainlet when it comes to the story. How does Penguindrum compare?

Utena makes heavy use of esoteric references that are too numerous to really expect to cover before the show, but a mild understanding of recent Japanese history and culture/norms are enough to understand Penguindrum. I'm sure you can find some pre-reading references eefore you watch Penguindrum. I personally preferred Utena.

Based Cheerios. He did nothing wrong and made retards seethe.

Yuri Kuma Arashi is my favorite of his.

Aeon Flux.

Well, one can always read Demian, and Hesse in general.

You're right in the sense that Utena's 'revolutionary' message is, in its core, about living outside society, and its rules, which can obviously be applied to a lot of different situations. However, given how the show uses homosexuality and uneven feelings as a major device, it's perfectly reasonable for people to approach it from that point of view.

Akio's antagonism is necessary for it explores and criticizes the concept of a shoujo prince.

Aww shit I remember the threads when this happened.
What a ride.

Literally every girl's anime series.

Aku no hana.

Cross Ange

Tusk wasn't the antagonist.

I remember when the flute scene was such a big thing back then.
Has Kaishaku made anything in recent years?

>Sells virginity to Milza for his support
>He gets merked by GKE Theo 2? episodes later after doing fuck all
I don't think I've laughed so hard since then.

Woulda been the best if it had another cour to fully flesh out. It has the coolest aesthetic.
