I think either people will get A. nervous and dump at some markercap, or B. demand will dry up and we get lower rebases before that happens. but I don't think it's impossible that it actually happens eventually. the incentive structure ensures that those who hold have an interest in keeping it rebasing and if there were to be a crash and negative rebase we would see the panic sellers but also a lot of people flooding in to get in on the action.

and don't forget, there is nothing like Uniswap right now. You can make a lot of money on fees. That will keep money pouring in. Today, fees are over $40k. I see that number continuing to rise. With just $100k, you can literally make $40k a year on Uniswap by providing liquidity to the ETH/AMPL pair. Don't think that this won't be noticed and be a source of continued liquidity. This is all while AMPL is still new. Imagine when fees are $1m+ per day. Whales will come flocking. This is nothing!
