I'm enjoying this series for what it is, but I'm not sure what the point is supposed to be. The idea that idols are people too seems so basic that you'd have to be some kind of mouth breathing quasi-sapient to need to have it explained to you. And it doesn't seem to be actually addressing the idea that the idol industry is packaging these girls in a fashion that encourages this kind of lunacy.
