when you think about the current trends in society one thing becomes clear: the future doesn't need people.
Automation means that any job you can think of right now will at some point in the future no longer exist. Reddit brain retards think this is great because life will be like their star trek episodes, but the reality is that without jobs to do humans lose the ability to improve their station in life. If you do not have the ability to trade your labor for capital, how do you intend to acquire it at all? The answer is you will not be able to, and all the things that we consider meaningful in life will be outside of your reach. Family, home, friends, possessions.
If you look at the rise of the internal combustion engine and what it did to horse populations you'll see the future of humanity. Horses were no longer needed for the transportation of people and goods, and so their population diminished from their peak in 1906. Currently they are kept primarily for entertainment and leisure reasons, and the same will be true for the people of the future.
Another factor to consider is the propagation of anti-reproduction ideologies that are propped up by current governments and social movements. Homosexuals cannot reproduce. Transgenders remove their reproductive organs, feminists refuse to form families as do MGTOWs on the other side. It is awfully convenient that all of these anti-reproduction ideologies are occuring right in time for automation to make redundant all of human labor. If you read the writing on the wall the next few years to decades at most are the final time in human history to acquire private capital before the culling will take place. Humans that are redundant will be sterilized and the world population will be reduced to those who have significant private capital, their cohort, and the remaining redundant population they maintain in preserves for leisure and research purposes.

When every career is automated how do you expect people to acquire knowledge? You don't gain real knowledge from reading books, you gain it from applying knowledge to the real world over the course of many years throught he work that you do. Doctors, engineers, lawyers, and scientists are the ones who are going to be out of work from this coming industrial revolution, so the knowledge those and other career communities collectively hold will be totally lost. Go ask an engineer today to rebuild something made with outdated tech like clockwork or steam power and you'll see that have to start all over and rebuild the knowledge and skill base that was lost when those careers went away.
And even if you had all the knowledge in the world, you would not be able to combat the automated and self-learning systems of the future.

What is going to happen is that the ruling classes of the world will no longer need the underclass to make and do things for them because it will be automated systems doing it. Jobs will go away and people will need UBI to sustain their lives. There will be lots of articles about overpopulation and astroturfed social movements protesting against reproduction and the family unit. As a response to the protests they originated, the ruling elite will craft laws that provide benefits for those who voluntarily sterilize themselves, and demerits for those who refuse. You can see the basic framework of this system being developed in china through the social credit system.
Eventually the only way to recieve UBI is if you are sterilized, and within a generation or two the results described in my initial post will realized. The world will be a paradise for the extremely wealthy few hundred million remaining, run on automated systems that will eventually take them out to colonize space.

the thing with these inside the walls utopias is that it is a curse. To stay in you have to accept either being a slave to a master or being a slave to your capital. Either way, you are a slave. People will have a great time in them, but there will also be suburbs and rural homesteads that are just as advanced and dope to live on. the majority of people that make it won't even be bad people. They'll have been indocrinated by the social engineers into valuing low population levels and environmental stewardship. yeah this has all been planned in advance and it's pretty obvious. the reason people don't see it is because they don't have access to real history. All the general public knows about the history of the world are a series of propaganda texts that are constantly refined and reproduced to stunt our mental faculties.
