The childhood friend always wins, so cow. I mean seriously, you don't mean to imply GS is capable of romance? And there's no Goblin females. Cow is the only one he already has real ties to, so it's a foregone conclusion.
The whole series would have been much more interesting if GS went alone, with some episodes of him banding together with random adventurers to slay goblins, then leaving again to work alone. None of that lighthearted Lili harem garbage it has devolved into. Just brutalizing goblins with various methods.
