Contrary to Zig Forums's shitposting talking point, Trigger makes things for itself first, and an audience second--they don't actually "pander to westcucks" or "pander to zoomers"

Not counting Tom and Jerry I've seen those as well. But we are also currently posting on Zig Forums where you have people who typically explore media far deeper than your average demographics. I will not take back my statement that your parent's generation, my parent's generation, whatever, are not the ones watching Kaguya weekly in 2020. And especially outside of Japan, 99% of people are not going to get references to anime older than the 90s in currently airing seasonal anime.

What does that have to do with my post? All I'm saying is most of the main Trigger staff are in their 40s so of course they're going to include references to stuff they're interested in. They've never indicated that they give much of a shit if anyone else gets them.
