SHADOWBOXING
Shadowboxing is like dancing alone. You imagine an opponent and throw out punches.
-> Raise hands to chin
--> Tighten core
---> Knees slightly bent
----> Keep feet in an "L" stance
Firstly, the basic JAB.
Shrug your shoulders, whip out a strike with the presiding hand, and recover quickly.
-> Aim for the opponent's face
--> Raised shoulder from shrug protects chin
The key in those instructions is actually the quick return to your basic stance.
-> Return to original position

Next, STRAIGHT.
Here, strike fast and hard on a weakened opponent.
Return to your original stance.
Use your whole body and strength to perform a straight, including twisting and firmly planting your rear foot.
As you can guess, a JAB the STRAIGHT used in succession is a basic combo. Start slowly and gradually build up your coordination and speed.
When you feel more comfortable, begin adding movement.
> JAB while stepping forward
> STRAIGHT follow-up
A common starting place, like so.
> Forward Jab
->Front foot moves first, rear foot follows in small measure
> Straight
Start by practicing non-stop for 1 minute, progressing to 3 minutes if you can.

You HAVE been keeping up with your lifting, right user?
I started doing push-ups until I plateaued at around 32-34. Tried everything I could to improve but nothing did it. Rep count improved by like 1 after TWO weeks of training. Fucking bullshit. I ragequit.
You can alter hand positions when performing push-ups to make things more challenging, work different muscle groups, alter comfort...or do more than push-ups.
