The document doesn’t actually say look nigger XRP is going to moon and you’re going to be poor forever if you don’t buy now, it actually says ok long nose man you may use the token to transfer value in the XRP corridors, but you have to be transparent and you will be accountable for your activity, also you are right XRP is amazing and it is effective for remittances.
It’s a huge step, no other coin or token is being regulated that way, it basically says YES we’re going to use it.
That being said, I just bought 5k more just in case.

Well I think you'd understand though how money transfers work. You need to make the token scale to price with something that makes sense for normal people transferring remittances using XRP. If they're sending 500$ to their abuela back home, they don't want to send 2500 XRP on an app. It has to be simple for them to get, so price rising is almost a guarantee. not 100% but it's logical and could happen whenever mass adoption of it transitions.

From what I know ripple has 0 control of the XRP ledger and all 24 validators would have to agree on this. Plus that would destroy their massive liquidity which is their main weapon
