Also I never realized it before this point, but all the graves have crosses even though this takes place in Japan and the shot up church was in the coast of Japan. Makes you think Japan is a christian country in this setting, though Makima specifically used a shinto shrine for gooshing.

Denji's dad's grave also had a cross, it was kind of strange, especially since we see the Hayakawa family in a Buddhist cemetery.

There's a small minority of japanese christians in japan, a church there is not that far-fetched. Nips also celebrate christmas but that doesn't mean they're christians.

Christmas is basically just a commercial holiday for couples there, bit different for having christian symbol on a grave or attending a sunday mass.

Now this is something that struck to me as odd when I first read the chapter, but it's even weirder now that I read it from the start.
When Power was introduced she had been on the bureau for maybe a week tops. The only reason she seeked out humans was to free her cat from the Bat Devil, so she was a fresh recruit when Denji was paired with her. The periodic draining doesn't feel like it fits the picture, or it was super brief and Power never knew why it was done. To me it only makes sense if we assume that Makima has been in contact with a previous incarnation of the Blood Devil and knows that it'll get stronger with more blood.
