Hardmode: write something that's deliberately meant to troll the audience
For hardmode I have to go with shoehorned in love rivals in couples I quite like. Stuff like food wars and so on
I mean for fuck sake this year's been shit enough. Can't I atleast enjoy the pretend people have things go smoothly for em
In the advent of extremely fast technological advancements such as Full Dive VR and true Augmented reality, a generation of new youngs has gotten implants connected to their spine and brain that display constant UIs of information and many different neccessary applications for every day life. Story follows identical twins sisters involved in an incestuous relationship and have spent their entire lives constantly swapping identities with each other and constantly abusing AR and VR to their advantage, but one day the older twin vanished without a trace. The entire story is about the younger one searching for her twin, increasingly more confusing thing happens as everyone keeps insisting she was always an only child and didn't have a twin sister, hints of her existence slowly fades and it all seems to connect to her sister's favourite band where their initials all spell her name. It all culminates into one giant twist that the audience doesn't see and ends with the twins getting boyfriends.
FUCK I can already feel my blood boiling reading this. If an anime were to air like that, it would create a shitstorm of a lifetime
Bravo user, bravo. You've actually managed to make me reply and do one of the tasks I asked for in the OP.
a guy can win any fight in one punch
>band of brothers in an Anime form
>NOT little girls, actual soldiers
>WW2 with more WW1 leaning aspects like trench warfare or just all around bleaker tone
>Adventurous landscapes and scenery with a Wartorn twist
>Fantastical elements, but no magic; think Valkyria Chronicles with maybe some fancy monster-like animals
>Main character is the Officer of a small unit, can start out at a just a Lieutenant, but maybe get to Captain towards the end
>Story will focus on their push towards the Capital of whateveristan, but we'll get the interactions between buddies as the forefront of the entertainment
>Big character point that the Lieutenant doesn't drink or smoke with the guys when they hang or talk, doesn't enjoy it; of course they give him shit about it as friends
>Final arc is them holding the line after they find the vanguard of their offensive wiped out
>Go down fighting
>Entire unit dies at the end except him, he's sitting alone after the final battle when reinforcements arrive
>Finally takes a drink from a flask, maybe have it be from one of his NCO's that died so there's some emotional connection
>After he drinks, have him smoke as well
>He never got to do either with his friends
Yeah, there are shows about this kind of thing, but almost all of them are either Children with superpowers or all girls, and that kind of ruins it for me.
Nice
>This fantasy land is perfectly balanced with no exploits.
>the guy who's been training for centuries whoops the ass of the protag who's been training for a week
imagine such a world anons
Sounds fucking amazing.
is the boyfriend thing really that annoying?
>Fantasy anime
>Game mechanics
>basically Danmachi
>MC is born and raised in fantasy anime
>Gets small trope like haram going on
>episode 5, MC dies
>air completely separate TV show
>real world, some neet MC
>parents are about to get to start going back to finish high school, basically slice of life anime
>MC for IRL anime is starting to get his shit together by episode 5, has a small harem going for himself
>same episode, gets hit by bus and is declared dead
>back to fantasy anime, episode 6, MC gets revived in ritual, but he's acting weird
>slice of life anime, MC wakes up in the morgue, completely healed
>mystery for the 7th episodes
>make viewers realize by 8th episodes the MC's from both shows have swapped places
>Surprise_Isekai.png
>Episode 9 and 10 they are them coming to terms and making a plan to return to their worlds, make firends from each others worlds as their own, some learn of the identity change (the harems, their friends, etc)
>11th episodes are them coming over main hassle to get back into their own respective worlds
>12th episodes are them finally meeting each other and finding the key to getting back to their own world, both realize they are happier in their new worlds
>OVA for each show them saying final goodbyes to their own worlds
It's the combination of NOT seeing the tweeest and a proper ending. The boyfriend thing is just the cherry on top.
> vietnam war-like harem kenomimi with gore and puns.
I could feel yurifags seething for eternity about this one.
Nightmare modo: no NTR

You'll be surprised how many yuri manga have bait and switch endings. But the fact you can easily confuse those who are mad at the off-screen twist with mad yurifags creates a lot of potential.
I could honestly see both being mad even if there's already a ton of yuri manga with a bait and switch ending.
A japanese guy goes to a jungle for (insert reason here) where he is attacked by a pack of beasts, but then he is saved by a naked feral girl. He then decide to take her to his home in Tokio to take care of her and teach her how to be a proper and civilized woman, despite all the trouble that this queen of the jungle may cause to him.
Three words:
FAT
MAGICAL
GIRLS
Oh boyo
didn't they already do that in DBS?
Just a simple anime that has a boy trying to make the emotionless transfer student laugh or smile. And bit by bit, she opens up more to not only him but fellow classmates. Ending the boy inexplicably comitting suicide and she reverts back to being emotionless but even worse.
>Ending the boy inexplicably comitting suicide and she reverts back to being emotionless but even worse.
Alright that's just dumb and I hate it
Once upon a time, in a parallel bronce age like world, there was a 15 y/old girl named Ariadna. When she was a child she was sold as a slave to a powerful and influential merchant named Julius, who was also the successor of the Alexandrian empire's throne.
Julius got tired of Ariadna and decided to get rid of her by selling her to a coal mine.
But then, a man named Zanathos saves her and kills Julius.
He then taught her the ways of "the drive", an inner aether (the energy that form and control the universe and all natural phenomena) manipulation breathing technique that can strengthen one's body and give the user full control over it, and also taught her martial arts.
After three years of training with Zanathos, Ariadna decides that she want to return to her homeland Balvaria, but in the way she discovers that she was labelled as a criminal for the death of Alexandria's first prince and now she is being hunted by mercenaries, bounty hunters and assassins with unique powers, and as if things couldn't get worse, a group of rebels asked her to protect the princess of Balvaria and escort her there as well.
Now Ariadna and her partner Taro, a selfish 14 years old prick that joins Ariadna after she saved him (female) from a group of slavers, not because of gratitude, but to use her power to gain easy money; have to fight the assassin squad that is after them and safely return home.
Romcom about an idol that keeps a purity facade while having a secret boyfriend. The ways she tries to hide her bf and the lewd stuff she does with him are treated as comedy, and her obnoxious fans are the butt of the joke.
