It'll be difficult for Isayama to justify the alliance ending so it could easily be shit but it would be a bittersweet ending with the >good guys winning and the world will be at peace while the devil of all earth being slain but leaving a future behind. You can argue that the outcome is desirable for the majority of fans but getting there is the challenge.
Which is why I said it'll be difficult. The thing is, Isayama has to justify Armin's wank and revival. He also has to show that everyone who was anti-eldian and later turns out to be sympathetic characters needs to pay this off with a redeeming act. Winning and actually achieving the impossible would mean their journey and alliance was worthwhile after all, otherwise we as the readers have wasted so many chapters dedicated to showing them as sympathetic.
