Why have none of the arcs have really lived up to the hype so far? I remember for years anons would be making theories about when or where Giga would make an appearance. And when he finally does? Meh.
Also it's hilarious that Giga couldn't serously injure any of the LoV after an entire month, even jobbers like Spinner.
>Why have none of the arcs have really lived up to the hype so far? Because Hero academia is really really underwhelming Even if you expect just the bare minimum you will be disappointed.
Because believe it or not, hero training is what makes the series entertaining. when they start doing edgy shit like messing with the yakuza, it gets boring. it's like any other fighting anime.
picture if harry potter spent most of the books fighting death eaters instead of studying. it would be repetitive as hell. at least with every class there's a new lesson, more chance at interaction with classmates, with a sprinkle of in-school adventures to break the montony.
bnha is now monotonous because despite all the supposed "schooling", theyre mostly not even in the classroom anymore. every arc is essentially "you train with this hero, but then training gets interrupted by a villain" over and over ad nauseum. the comfiness is gone. and so is your reason to care about the characters.

>Also it's hilarious that Giga couldn't serously injure any of the LoV after an entire month, even jobbers like Spinner. Maybe because he wasn't trying at all?
Noah Young
This. He already knew they were scrubs. They were no threat to him and he treated them as such.
Logan Wilson
i see the sales dropping. maybe the editor has spoke with hori long ago about how he should pick up the pace. the cultural festival was the last splice of life schooling that we got, but the arc also suffered criticism for the school aspect part. i see hori doing all he can to advance the plot, instead of stalking it again. he skipped valentines day and sped through christmas.
Justin Moore
stalking >*stalling
Elijah Wright
>Also it's hilarious that Giga couldn't serously injure any of the LoV after an entire month, even jobbers like Spinner. Yeah. I don't find him threatening since every time he comes in the story he just loses.
The actual schooling was always uninteresting and the only interesting part came from pitting characters against each-other. The schooling should be used to pit the protagonist against each-other without some heavy set up like with Deku and Bakugo whiles still providing a meaningful reason for them to struggle against each-other. The reason Joint Training failed was because it didn't matter at all. Winning or losing didn't mean shit, the character fighting each-other had no established relationships so there was no drama between them thus no reason for why we should care who wins or loses. There were no actual steaks as to losing unlike in the sports festival the number 1 spot actually mean something. Hori should have kept his dick in his pants and waited until the second year sports festival and worked harder in the meantime to introduce class B in the other arcs.
Its not a feeling its a fact. Hero Academia is dogshit The last time I was surprised with how bad it was was when he did the Twice fuckup. After that I stopped expecting him to even remember the bare basics of his own story.
Xavier Garcia
>the character fighting each-other had no established relationships so there was no drama between
hence the need for more interactions within the classroom.
Every writer is bound to make mistakes at some point
Aiden Ramirez
Yeah but how do you fuck that up?
Logan Parker
>a year ago, Hori makes a mistake which is so minor that it's easily covered by just saying 'she grew a bit because she's young', regarding a continuity error from almost 2 years beforehand >>>>>>therefore almost 5 years of narrative is completely null and void You are a complete fucking retard dude.
Chase Ward
It just disillusioned me how little he cares If I asked you if Twice ever measured Toga before would it take you less than second to remember the Yakuza arc?
Everyone involved from Hori to the editor through all the steps this manga has to get through to get to us didn't catch this thing you caught within seconds.
Ryan Hughes
I just hate that whatever the fuck is happening now has basically put the author in a corner. Where the fuck does the story go from here? They have to kill Tomura by the end of this fight, since he instantly demonstrated the will and power to destroy everything. So they will, and then what?
This is some absolutely retarded reaching. Author makes one tiny mistake in 200 chapters and retards make a huge fucking deal out of it. I genuinely can't think of any other series that gets this comical degree of pedantic nitpicking and issue fabrication. There tons and tons of things in other series that people hardly care for that if present in BNHA are made out to be this unforgivable writing sin. Its impossible to take you retards seriously when you take issue with most inconsequential things. The series could be a 7/10, a 5/10 or even a 3/10. But the hate it gets is likes its a -17/10. Its fucking ridiculous.
>Author makes one tiny mistake in 200 chapters >one oh if only...
Chase Morgan
>getting overworked about a tiny irrelevant mistake user, unfortunately that's the very base of how autism works. There's no malice behind that, it's just that they can't help it and, cherry on top, they think that everyone should think the same as them. Again, very basic autistic mindset
Levi Flores
I was referring to him forgetting something. Because in no way does it warrant >DURRRRRRRRRRR HE DOESNT CARE Also his other mistakes don't warrant a >DUURRRRRRRRRRRR OH IF ONLY either.
The irony here is palpable. You clearly think everyone should feel the same way about all the mistakes and writing shit as you do
Ian Cruz
Its wasn't symptomatic on anything. Its like you retards don't even read my post and then go on to prove the part you didn't read.
Easton Allen
You claim it is only the mistake I am saying that was the last straw He constantly disappoints on a writing level but until that point he at least didn't directly contradict himself I already hated him soft retconing how Aizawa works but that part was early and him changing his mind wasn't that bad But that one was indefensible You can joke about how small it is but even you can not deny it is an outright mistake I don't expect him to have a consistent story anymore. He probably wont remember this arc either
