Since Accel World threads die almost imminently after birth and SAO threads attract rampant shitposting I thought I would take a page out of the Raildex fanbase's book and try making a unified thread for both series (and their respective spinoffs like Magisa Garden, Progressive, and Alternative)
>What do you think of Unital Ring so far? >Was Haruyuki a fucking idiot for choosing a sword as his Level 6 bonus when the Legion already has Lotus, Pile, Scissors, and Heir covering that weapon-type and they are all DRASTICALLY better at it than Crow is? >Will Sunrise ever stop huffing the giant pile of Love Live cash to ever make a season two for AW? >Will Kawahara and Sigawa ever take another bromance road trip abroad to shoot guns together and claim it was totally "research" for AGGO? >Are you hyped for WoU Part 2 and Lycoris coming out this week?
>SAO/Accelverse thread I've been waiting for this! And I'm really quite disappointed that Crow chose a sword instead of going for a kicking or a punching armament, I would have liked for him to go a vastly different power or skillset than a lot of his legionmates.
Leo Taylor
Literally leg/hand blades. It would ideally complement his fighting style and would match with Black Lotus. Literally win/win situation.
Landon Price
>Kawaharaverse thread His world needs more spin-offs. There's so many interesting stories that could take place in them given the potential in his VR setting.
I was just thinking about how much of a waste it is with how little spin-offs we have about the series. A Klein spin-off or Furinkazan spin-off would be pretty easy to make.
Eli James
>Literally leg/hand blades Yeah, that would make way more sense. But perhaps he wants Crow to be GE's deshi and learn the ways of swordtism
Wyatt Moore
Klein/Furinkazan + Agil's misadventures would be really great to see. Add in the SAO survivors like Thinker as characters and it would be a perfect spin-off to see the lives of the adults who were trapped in SAO
Isaiah Green
Does anyone have links to the spoilers/summaries for SAO Volume 24? I really would like to know what's up with the Eugeo look-alike.
Owen Green
As always with these things, Gsimenas has it all on twitter
SAO needs more fan translators. I feel bad about Gsimenas having to translate basically everything. Flere and people alike can fuck off though
Daniel Perry
>Since Accel World threads die almost imminently after birth This is, in fact, wrong. Accel World gets a thread that hits bump limit every other month or so. If you miss it you're out of luck though.
Liam Hill
Haven't read the two latest volumes of AW yet. Anyone have summaries?
Grayson Jenkins
Defan still does the manga. I think he dropped the novels because YP is catching up.
Robert Torres
Yeah I've basically missed out on every Accel World thread that actually had discussions on.
>Will Sunrise ever stop huffing the giant pile of Love Live cash to ever make a season two for AW? At this point, I wish Dengeki Bunko would hand the anime production to some other company to animate it. Yes, I get there's probably a metric butt ton of shit that needs to be sorted but I FUCKING WANT THE DISASTER ARC COMPLETELY ANIMATED
Adam Flores
>all theChrome Disaster Arc animated I'll be completely 満足 if it happens
Chase Bailey
But user, that's silly! Are you saying you wanted someone else to defeat Inti? Are you saying that you ACTUALLY wanted the original plan of getting Heat Resist on The Infinity to go through? Haruyuki is the PROTAGONIST here, user. We can't let anyone else but him have any sort of relevance or development or progress. Don't tell me you're one of those weird Takufags who are still upset about Kuroyukihime saying Taku sucks balls and Haruyuki has long since surpassed him in nearly all aspects? Or what? You are telling me you don't want him to also surpass Taku in swordfighting through his training in swording with Sentry? AW went to utter shit after the ISS kit arc ended. Choco's been the only saving grace and even so just barely because, as I mentioned, no one but Haru is allowed to truly ever be relevant in the long-run because even when there's reasons for him to not be in the spotlight the plot bends over so that it does so. And then there's the extreme character bloat too.
Nathan Green
I really do need more characters to develop/get their spotlight back in AW. It just feels like this downtime is pad out when Kawahara finally reveals an SAO character into AW. >We see Kikuoka or Higa
Blake Gray
Gotta have to agree with you to be honest. I do like Haruyuki and yes, he IS the Protagonist but I would like it if others actually progressed both as a combatant and as a character.
Connor Perez
Anyone else read Volume 5 of Isolator? What are your thoughts on Minoru as a main character and the two Arc villains?
Asher Gray
Reading that makes me think about how badly Incarnation degraded in AW. There's absolutely no comparison at all between SAO's Incarnation in the Underworld and the extremely limited, heavily categorized and compartmentalized Incarnation from AW. There's also the ease in which SAO characters learn it and do it while in AW characters struggle to learn it at even the most basic level.
Daniel Richardson
I like Liquidizer and Trancer, villains that cooperate with each other and aren't pushovers pushes a lot of my antagonist buttons. They're both good villains and it felt like a lot of Kawahara's villains have drastically improved in many ways since writing SAO. As for Minoru, I think that he works fine as a protagonist and it is pretty nice to see that he's developing pretty well as a main character though I kind of feel bad that Yumiko keep getting less and less scenes.
Brandon Collins
It's generally why the Dieties and other fluctlight based creatures mock players in BB. >Yumiko Yeah, main girl my ass. Invisible girl gets more relevance than her.
Oliver Williams
I should really start reading Isolator. Are there digitals around?
Henry Stewart
There's Kindle versions now. So I assume so.
Easton Rodriguez
Eyep. Though all of my copies are hardback covers.
Angel Howard
Nice. Gonna get them today then
John Green
>Are you hyped for WoU Part 2 and Lycoris coming out this week? You fucking bet your ass I am. My only good piece of news in recent weeks man
Luis Rogers
>It's generally why the Dieties and other fluctlight based creatures mock players in BB. Just what went so wrong? It's technically the same mainframe and technology after all.
Luis Smith
Is there any reason the spanish translators haven't done AW vol 24 yet?
James Rivera
An entire generation with a lack of willpower of sheer drive. Kind of like the real world
