For some reason I always get the same vibes between Air Gear and Kenichi

If anything, Zig Forums anthem should be raspberry heaven

I definitely think it's worth reading, granted it becomes basically a battle shonen anime with rollerblades, but I thought it was cool. Don't take it too seriously or anything, and yeah towards the end the powers and abilities get even more retarded. The story takes a nosedive as well.

One dude can literally control fire and time, plus use any attack in the series regardless of who it's from.

It was at some point full of pseudo-physics jibber-jabber. Call me a brainlet, but some of the tech jargon just doesn't make sense anymore from a narrative standpoint.

Also Ikki becoming Storm King for a very brief moment before his gear immediately gave up on him.

I can't really remember but didn't Ikki try using a regalia and then it shattered on him or something? Was that the storm regalia or the wind regalia? I know later on after Ikki found out that Sora was just using him and didn't care about him, Ikki had a breakdown and then took on the title of storm king of the hurricane road or something.

When I first started reading/watching the series, I honestly believed Ikki was going to become some god-tier wind king god since he already seemed to be prone to it. I was kind of disappointed in it, but the hurricane road sounds cooler anyway. Storm king is also cooler because, you know, STORM RIDERS. And he's the king.

Sora was a faggot anyway. I thought he was cool at first, but you realize he's a scumbag and a lowlife. He got to fuck Rika a bunch of times though, so I'm jealous about that.

I have to reread the good parts at some point, it's been a very long while since the last time I touched this series.
And yeah, fuck Sora.

They were hotter and better than Rika in my opinion. Ikki could have easily fucked Ringo, not sure if he ever did, but she clearly wanted his dick. They did kiss in the OVA, or more like, Ringo randomly kissed Ikki. Simca would have let Ikki fuck her as well.

It's a mediocre series with cool art and a plot clearly just made up as it goes. If you have time to fill it'll do the job, just don't have too high expectations.

Tenjou Tenge is the superior Oh Great work. Much less of a nose dive than Air Gear.

Ikki is a Mary Sue.

While I loved Tenjou Tenge, I have to disagree. Air Gear was way superior to me personally. Both anime had garbage stories, so you can't really use story as leverage. Air Gear had way better music and aesthetics.

Tenjou Tenge was very interesting, I'll give you that.

Tenjou Tenge was pretty brutal compared to Air Gear. Air Gear had it's moments, but Tenjou Tenge had a rape scene in it and lots of nudity and fanservice. I mean, Air Gear had plenty of fanservice as well, but the way Tenjou Tenge did it was different to me.

The (later) Tenjou Tenge manga had better art, though.
