Historia was going to go along with the 50-year-plan because she wanted to act selflessly (just like Christa would have done). Of course, deep inside, she hated the idea. But, just as she said to Eren, if that were the only way to save Paradis, she would do it.
Here's where her selfish part comes into play: there IS another way, and it's the Rumbling, as Eren suggested. Historia tries to tell Eren (and by extension, to herself) that she could never do something like that, but deep down she knows she wants to live instead of being turned into cattle and die getting cannibalised by her children. She acts selfish because that's who Historia is. Eren also knows this, that's why he reminded her that she's "the worst girl in the world".
So in the end she agrees with Eren, by proposing getting pregnant. We will get further insight in the forthcoming chapters!

After asking if Historia wanted him to erase her memories so she could live without the guilt of being an accomplice, it's really plausible that Eren might actually genocide the whole world and then erase his friends and every eldian memory, so they could live free from the guilt of being part of such a bloody and dark event on human history (even tho the world deserves it, kek)

Eren is basically telling her that she had forgotten what that motto meant : if she wants to live with pride, for herself, she must reject the 50 years plan, and support the Rumbling. This is what the "worst girl in the world" would do.
I think this is the key to understand why she would want a baby. It's certainly the culmination of her most selfish desires, because her conversation with Eren was only about her forsaking her Christa-like mentality once again, and becoming the selfish Historia who wants to let the Titans destroy mankind.
