As I didn't see a thread about this.
Simply click the Tanabata emergency meeting, you will hear Haruhi humming and then... well, just see it yourself.
>"Hiyashi-Chuka Hajimemashita"
Hiyashi Chuka is some kind of cold ramen, btw.

P!
>So what we've confirmed so far is that:
a) The audio files are relatively new, and the humming is by Aya Hirano. The song she's humming is "Tanzaku no Mukou ni" which debuted on the Tanabata episode.
b) The text says " Hiyashi chuka has begun", which is a type of chinese chilled noodles. It could refer that in 1995, 7/7 was called the "day of chilled noodles" or the chinese origin of Tanabata. Or it could be some sort of cypher or password. Or nothing at all and we're all going crazy.
c) The picture of the Tanzaku was edited in photoshop on 26/06/2020 10:27:11.
d) Since it mentioned Chinese chilled noodles, it could be referring to the lunar calendar still used in China btw Tanabata in the traditional lunar calendar is 8/25 this year
see dic.nicovideo.jp
that's just what chinese restaurants say when it gets hot enough to start putting chilled noodles on the menu, which usually happens around tanabata
I hope it's not another pachinko machine promo
its a gacha or pachinko game
who the fuck drew an ahoge on haruhi?! this is blasphemy!
d-dont get your hopes up anons... it's already too late
don't give me hope
does anyone in japan even want more Haruhi anymore?
i-it's happening!
Well that's something
The bi-yearly season 3 bait is already here?
well the author sure doesn't ;_;
Oh cool, a new pachinko machine!
No.
Well, if something truly important were to come, I doubt they'll put a fucking cold noodle ramen as the title.
Unless the ramen weren't really the message, and more like a code to reference Tanabata. But that sounds simply too forced in my books.
Reality is that, most likely, this is just a food campaing related to Haruhi. Like some template ramen restaurant with Haruhi skin.
As if they're announcing a new Haruhi season of all things so soon after Kyoani burning down. This is weaker bait than last time.
Isn't like Kyoani is the only studio in Japan, but I understand that not having Kyoani involved is a huge blow to any hypothetical project (best example: Yuki-chan)
Kyoani has actually been able to get back on their feet pretty well aparently apart from the obvious of not being able to get back the talent they lost. Last I heard they were hiring animators
That's a pretty good explanation. It was nice to hear that voice though...
Still, the thought of haruhi making closed space because her wish didn't come true is pretty funny to me. I doubt we'll get anything beyond that, especially after all the times we've been dragged around, but with this franchise, you never know.
I don't think I believe anymore, but I still want to.
They started the animation school again. All things considered, if we assume that Kyoani is currently working in nothing, even with a lot of loss talent, working just in a single project at the same time should be manageable
True, if anything the one project they would most likely be working on now is 20 Seiki Denki Mokuroku, that novel adaptation announced just before the fire
That work must be a painful one for Kyoani. Everything that surround it is spiritually related to their lost staff.
But I'd love to see it being announced someday.
Too late, it's time for my yearly hype.
A music show, gacha, pachinko machine, tv rerun... I've got no dreams to be crushed by this point.
>Aya Hirano recently talked about wanting to voice Haruhi and Konata again
My money's still on pachinko though
oh god pls..
If they do decide to go a gacha route, I might support it if it shows any love for the English crowd. Enough whales would eventually fund something even nicer.
I can understand if this is some kind of food bait campaign, but why is this so aggressive? The rock music, and why using the titans?
Were titans even relevant in the light novels past what was animated? I don't remember that being the case.
Probably a gacha mobage announcement.
It might represent the unstable state of mind of Haruhi during the Tanabata. The humming sounds kind of melancholic (S1 mode on)
don't do this to me, not again
