I just finished watching this. Haven't seen the movie yet. I thought it was going to be shit because of Zig Forums but I actually really liked it a lot. The last two minutes had me rolling though. Still confused about Lillith and Adam though, I don't know why thing was revealed to be Lillith when it was called Adam by everyone the whole time. In that scene Shinji says "(You hate me) because I remind you of you", Shinji had no idea that was the case in the show. He had no idea why Asuka was so abrasive towards him. He could only conclude such a thing by being in instrumentality connected with her and everyone else. That in itself proves it's not a real memory.
