Yeah cringe af.
I used to do it
Then I just immerse myself with vidya to forget it

usually I skip the first part though
yeah I do that too man, nothing wrong with it. If anything its good to be creative with your Imagination
Van!shment th!s world.
That shit actually helps out a lot in drawing, you should try it
Sure you'll suck at first but it speeds up the process
Wait, people don't do this?
>your sister sees you
tfw no one
You're the reason why we have 40 issekai a season.
Yeah I have maladaptive daydreaming too
Based anons
We need a show about a Chuuni that thinks he reincarnated in another world but I'm reality he just moved towns.
I still do this sometimes minus the last part. I find it interesting to see how easily a 3rd party can solve the issues presented in many stories just by being a sort of negotiator/middleman that doesn't try to screw everyone over or be combative.
Jesus user, I used to do that when I was like 8. I realized it was autistic and I trained myself to stop though. You need to turn back while you still have the chance, I remember it was really fucking hard to quit, way back when.
Yeah, that was how it worked when I was a kid. Now I need to smoke some weed to have a level of immersion similar to that, although it will never be the same. Not saying that you need that to enjoy anime, but that's the reason why "everything was better"

This shit helped me a lot to think outside the box, tbqh
Sure it's autistic but goddamn that helped me build perception from another angle

DUDE
>becoming jaded and restricting your imagination
Come on now, user. If you know how to control yourself and not be a retarded, you wouldn't have to be this jaded
I only do this when I'm in bed it helps me fall asleep
>constant power fantasies when walking to and from work just because I'm bored
How do I stop this
I do too, play a game, like literally anything, even gacha trash
That stops me, but I am too autistic and too into it that when I have free time, my brain engages "power fantasy mode"
There's different types and ways to employ your imagination bro. You don't want to get too immersed in your daydreams, or you risk your fantasies determining your real-life interactions with people. Then you REALLY turn into an uber autist
I do this with my waifu's series a lot. It's a nice way to make up for the fact that she's not real by imagining interacting with her and affecting her story.
write a book about it. eventually youll get so sick of writing that youll stop fantasizing.
I do it too, i find it helps me write new characters. I just take the "character" I make up for that series and use it as a base for characters in my other works.
There is nothing wrong with it man it means you are creative just don't do it in front of people you don't trust.
peak chuuni cringe
im still finding myself spends time with my waifus in the world of wheel of time
