WATER RESISTANCE IS HUGE

For the purpose he serves, he serves it well. He's emotional without being insufferable and knows how to get the job done when he needs to. His relationship with his sister is endearing. People will complain that he's a rather static character and by the end of the manga most of his character development is near the start but he's a good MC because he lets us experience other characters and stories without too much bullshit bogging it down

Decently written but kny had decent moments like the rock thing that was nice

In terms of character? He's not a particularly badly written one at least. He just kind of gets the job done. Generally forgettable. Fights are fucking awful though, like, some of the worst I have ever seen in a shounen protagonist.

hoenstly they could've pulled out one more arc since they set up the blue spider lily bit that gave mizuan his oni powers
could've made tanjiro stay partially a demon with muzan slowly tempting him or some shit while they find out the origins of it all

He does his job, and hes not awful, hes not complex and doesnt go through any major growth beyond the first part of the story, but it's not about his growth it's about saving his sister and killing muzan

So I'd say hes well written for the role he is in, as the protagonist of a basic somewhat old fashioned shonen

Not him but I think hes talking about how Tanjirou sees the demons as tragic creatures since they were all once human, but understands that doesnt change the fact that he has to kill them to put an end to the destruction and death they cause

He's even gayer but in the good way. Deku is gayer in the bad way

Tanjirou is a top and Deku is a bottom
